This upcoming Saturday I will be in Radford working with a group of pre-service teachers. I will be presenting VEA's ITeach workshop. This workshop showcases a bunch of tools that you can use to integrate technology into your curriculum. Some of these I haven't played with in a while so I am posting things as I refresh my memory on these amazing tools. These are wonderful ways to help your students tell their own stories.
Animoto combines still images with music to create a free 30 second slide show. The slide show below stars my beautiful grandson, Ryan.
Go Animate allows you to choose your characters and scenes along with either recorded text or using a text to speech feature to make one of a kind videos. the video below was created quickly and is a celebration of VA's new governor.
Hi, my name is Melanie Lewis. I am an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for Amherst County Public Schools, located in the beautiful state of Virginia. I LOVE my job! I get to work on my hobby, anything that has to do with computers. I get to work with teachers and students, and I am definitely a people person. Plus, I DO NOT have to give grades. Wonderful, huh? Let me know how I can help you better integrate technology into your classroom.
