Thinglink is another brand new site that I have just stumbled upon. This site has so many possibilities! Thinglink is all about making an image interactive with hotspots; something that is easy to use in any academic area. This would be the perfect tool to create a visual webquest for young children or SPED children. You can link to YouTube videos, other images, or just web links. Below is my very first Thinglink. I created an interactive image that tells all about me.
The best thing about this web tool is that it is absolutely free! Although students could add their own email addresses in the site after you have registered them, they do not have to have emails to sigh up.
Hi, my name is Melanie Lewis. I am an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for Amherst County Public Schools, located in the beautiful state of Virginia. I LOVE my job! I get to work on my hobby, anything that has to do with computers. I get to work with teachers and students, and I am definitely a people person. Plus, I DO NOT have to give grades. Wonderful, huh? Let me know how I can help you better integrate technology into your classroom.
